I’m now working with some really awesome people…

A little while ago, I joined Yahoo!’s new entertainment blogging team run by Courtney Reimer and Mark Lisanti, and the company announced it today. When we launch our respective sites with their own names and all that, we will be:

Will Leitch and Tim Grierson, Movies

Caryn Ganz and Daniel Kreps, Music

Erin Carlson and Josh Duboff, Celebrity

Me and Tara Ariano, TV

There’s nothing to see yet, but I’m really excited about what’s coming up and thrilled to be working with such talented people, every single one of whom I was either friends with or familiar with the work of prior to working with them.

And a special note about Tara: I’m launching a new TV website with Tara Fucking Ariano, co-creator of Television Without Pity, Person Who Knows Everything About TV Without Ever Once Being Obnoxious About It, and the instigator of my thrice-daily laptop-threatening spit-takes. I mean, there is literally no better person writing about TV out there. She is the best. If you’re not already doing so, please follow her on Twitter and read her site and listen to her podcast, Extra Hot Great.

(More later, obviously! Like, when we have sites! But I had to say something. Very excited.)
